A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Sherwood School District to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018, will be held in the Community Room of Edy Ridge Elementary School, 21472 SW Copper Terrace, Sherwood, OR 97140. The meeting will take place on Thursday, May 25, at 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and make comments on the proposed budget to the Budget Committee.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the District Office, 23295 SW Main Street, Sherwood, OR 97140, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. At the same time, a copy of the budget document will also available on the District’s website: www.sherwood.k12.or.us.
In the event that the Budget Committee meeting is continued to a future date, the following day and time have been tentatively reserved: Wednesday, May 31, 2017, 6:00 p.m., in the Community Room of Edy Ridge Elementary School.
