Every year, the Sherwood School District declares the week before Spring Break as Staff Appreciation Week. While other districts often identify individual weeks to honor teachers, classified staff, and other employee groups, our district has a standing tradition of celebrating all of our staff, together, during one week of the year. Sherwood is known for its strong schools – and the 573 hard-working, caring and thoughtful staff who work in our schools and departments are the foundation of that strength! This week is special because it gives us a specific time to thank our staff for the work that they do; but truly, our gratitude is immeasurable and extends far beyond the treats, decorations and recognitions of this week. We are so grateful for the dedication and commitment our employees demonstrate all year long! We invite our families and community members to join us this week in celebrating the staff of the Sherwood School District.  |
