We are very excited to have begun distributing devices to our elementary students today; however, with that, a few concerns have been brought to our attention and we want to take this opportunity to address those.
We realize that the device you received today (or will receive tomorrow) is not the same device your child has been working on throughout the year. All devices should reset remotely tonight if you do the following:
Once you have done these things, your child’s device should be ready for login starting tomorrow morning. If your child does not remember his/her login information, please reach out to your child’s teacher and they can share that information with you. In the weeks to come, our Technology Department will be able to remotely add any apps your child needs to participate in distance learning.
Going forward, we would ask that if you encounter technical difficulties in the days and weeks to come, please start by letting your child’s teacher know. In the event that they are unable to help, they will direct you to someone who can provide additional support.
Finally, we are excited to share that our distance learning web page is live and provides links to many of the activities or lessons your child’s teacher may have referenced in their email today. To visit our new web page please click on the link here.
We appreciate your understanding, patience, and support as we work through this new process of providing at-home technology support to our elementary students.
