Last night at approximately 10:30pm, law enforcement and District staff completed searches of the grounds of all district facilities, following the discovery and subsequent detonation of an explosive device at Sherwood Middle School. All schools have been cleared, and will be open today as per the normal bell schedule. Thank you to the Sherwood Police Department for their collaboration in responding to last night’s event, and in particular to our School Resource Officer James Wolfer for his participation in the searches conducted at our facilities.
