Tax Exempt Information
By definition Sherwood School District is considered to be tax exempt and there is no required filing of any kind. The IRS recognizes contributions to public schools as charitable in nature. Please refer to the attached Publication 526, showing non-profit schools and federal, state, and local governments as eligible charitable organizations under certain circumstances.
