Securly Parent Controls
We understand supporting students online is a team effort. Our filter system, Securly, comes with tools to support families.
What happens automatically:
All parents get a weekly email with student Chromebook activity.
What you can do with the Parent Portal and free Securly Home app:
- View Activity: See a quick snapshot of your child’s recent web searches and site visits.
- Pause the Internet: Temporarily turn off internet access on the school device while at home (requires the app).
- Set Offline Schedules: Create automatic quiet times for school nights or bedtime (requires the app).
- Customize Home Rules: Choose to block specific site categories or set custom rules while the device is on your home Wi-Fi.
Parent Portal Instructions
Resetting Your Securly Password
A Securly account is automatically created for all parents with email addresses on file in Synergy. If you don’t remember your password or never received one, parents can reset their Securly password from Securly’s website using the “forgot password” button. If you have problems accessing your account after a password reset, please make sure your email address is correct in Synergy.
