We are excited to announce the official kickoff of a school-to-home communication tool at Sherwood School District called ParentSquare. You may remember receiving report cards last spring and summer from this resource. This year, we will use it for all district and school communications. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with the schools and district. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:
- Send and receive school and district information
- Receive report cards
- Complete forms and submit e-signatures
- Receive timely attendance updates
- Schedule parent-teacher conferences
- and much more . . . all in one centralized place!
All district and school information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices). Beyond school and district messaging, other school staff, including teachers, will have opportunities to learn this tool throughout the school year.
We’re excited to streamline our communication tools and give our families one place to go to stay connected!
