Thank you for your interest in volunteering in the Sherwood School District. The time our parents and community members devote to our schools is what helps make our district great. Sherwood School District welcomes volunteers for the 2022-2023 school year. Please note volunteering will only be available during non-student contact hours (before and after school) and specific field trips at this time.

Every volunteer in Sherwood School District must have a criminal background check completed on a yearly basis. It can take 7-10 business days to complete the process, so if you would like to volunteer for specific event or date, please plan ahead!

You only need to submit your information one time per year. Once it has cleared, your name will be added to the master list for all locations.

To learn about specific volunteer opportunities and needs, please contact one of our schools, or get involved in one of our parent groups (see links below).

Background Check Forms

If you would like to volunteer, please complete the electronic volunteer background check form.

Please only submit a background check once – it costs money for each submission, even if the person has already been approved.

Please note all volunteers will need to complete SB 155 training. This training is also linked in the volunteer background check forms above.

Please contact Human Resources with any questions.
