Last week, the District communicated with families regarding the availability of an online option for families best served by this option. We will be partnering with the Northwest Regional Education Service District to provide SSD students with access to the Oregon Virtual Education (ORVED) platform for families that choose this option. This program serves students in grades K-12 with a comprehensive, online curriculum. On Friday, the District sent a registration form and FAQ to families in the District Updates newsletter.
To register for this ORVED online option, please complete the registration form found here. Please complete this registration by Wednesday, September 1st at 8:00 AM for prioritized enrollment in ORVED. Students may continue to register after that time, but their first day of school may be delayed.
