The SSD Board of Directors is seeking family, staff, and community feedback related to the hiring of the next superintendent for our district, following the announcement of Dr. Jeremy Lyon’s retirement at the end of this school year. Your feedback is important to our Board of Directors as they determine the essential qualities and qualifications that will guide the hiring process.
The following opportunities are available for you to share your feedback regarding the selection of the next superintendent:
- Anonymous Survey – Our selected executive search firm, the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA), is providing a third-party survey for an anonymous opportunity to share feedback. Please see the link(s) below to complete this survey. Survey will close on Monday, March 18, with survey results discussed by the Board at their March 20 meeting.
2. In-Person Community Feedback Forum – Members of the Board and our OSBA representative will be hosting a Community Feedback Forum on Monday, March 11, 6:30-8:00pm in the Archer Glen Elementary cafeteria. All stakeholders are welcome to attend.
