The Sherwood High School Mixolydians competed in the 7th Annual Rose City Sing-Off, the premier a cappella competition for high school-age singers in the Northwest. The Mixolydians placed third in the event this year and are receiving a monetary prize for their music program. Representatives of the Portland Rose Festival Foundation present the Mixolydians and their Director, Ms. Kathy Shuckerow, with the 3rd place award check in the amount of $250.00, in recognition of their exceptional performance.
