The Sherwood Education Foundation (SEF) raises funds from the community through its annual Calling for Kids campaign, and donations from individuals and businesses. SEF distributes funds through grants to individual teachers and also through funding programs that support the District’s Strategic Plan. The Sherwood Education Foundation presented more than $60,000 in grants to teachers in order to fund innovative projects at all seven Sherwood schools. This is a significant increase over previous years, largely due to the success of the Sip ‘N Spell which raised over $50,000 in just one evening in its second year.  |
